Lydia Cover has a lengthy background and interest in fashion design, dress-making,
make-up and styling. Four years ago, she decided to further her creative
talents by pursuing a millinery career and undertook two courses including
a TAFE certificate. Lydia quickly applied her natural flair to millinery
and has produced some eye-catching headwear. Her outstanding innovative,
made to order designs for weddings, society functions and the Spring Carnival
have been in demand from women looking for that something special. They
have been noticed by men too, with veteran TV and radio personality Ernie
Sigley telling his 3AW listeners that one of Lydia's hats was the best
he had ever seen on the race course. Lydia uses a range of materials with
her favorites being top quality straws, sinnamay, fur felt, cotton and
silk.
